There's a bit of a brouhaha going down at the PO this cycle. Seems a certain Game sprite and renegade Guardian are finally making things all legit.

Matrix tugs irritably at his dress shirt for the umpteenth time, and AndrAIa moves to correct it. "Tell me again why we're doing this?" he growls, rolling his eyes at his almost-wife's fussing.

The Game sprite's reply is carefully neutral and patient, as if she's reminding herself of the answer as well. "Because we both love your sister very much."

He scowls. "But... she took Gun away."

"And you'll get Gun back afterward."

"I feel naked," her almost-husband whines again, and he gets a lecherous sort of grin in reply.

"No, that's later."

Some decidedly jovial humming made its way into the reception hall as a small-scale exo-suit arrived, containing a green null with reddish streaks. Well, after all...you couldn't expect him to miss the marriage of his original-format son, correct? Welman Matrix appeared to be in a good mood, his null-head sort of nodding with the tune he hummed. He was wearing a hat on the dome, but removed it as soon as he entered. He'd considered getting a decent attire fitted for the exo-suit, but he didn't want any fabric getting snagged in the mechanism. Hmmm... Perhaps some armor plating in a cobalt finish...

Yes, he was in scientist mode still. Promise to be out of it by the time somebody speaks.

Matrix approaches the null with a rare smile on his face, AndrAIa trailing behind. He gives the headwear in the exo-suit's hands an amused look.

"Nice hat."

The null looks over from his comfortable-looking sitting position. Wait, can an exo-suit look comfee? Eh, well, nevermind.

"Thank you. They called it a derby in Milliways. I just wanted to do something about my appearance."

Whatever works, doc.

"So, how do you feel, son?"

You know what he's talking about. Are we feeling as nervous as a small dog in a chinese food factory yet? Welman seemed to let off a null-grin for that. He'd been there before.

Lissar looks, really, much the same as she did before. Just. Sprite-ized. She stands with Demyx and Ironhide once they get here and does her best to look unobtrusive.

The Game sprite strides over, to her friend, grinning from ear to ear.

"Lissar! Thanks again for coming."

Ironhide, for his part, is here with Lissar and doing his level best not to look intensely uncomfortable at having been pixellated into some kind of red getup with pale skin and flat blue optics.

Bob eyes the new arrival curiously. That energy signature is a bit familiar...

"Ironhide? Is that you?"

Matrix looks over with curiosity which habitually surfaces as a suspicious expression. That's definitely the Milliways group, but while two fit AndrAIa's descriptions, the pale sprite in red doesn't ring any bells. But the only one he should recognize seems to be absent.

Contrary to popular belief, Matrix isn't stupid.

"...Ironhide?"

Enzo can't sense energy signatures, and he's not totally clear on who was invited, so he's just gonna squint at the mystery sprite with a 'bzuh?' expression.

Bob doesn't have a lot in the way of formal wear, so he's in his dress uniform. The last time he wore it, he was the one getting married.

Dot really only has one formal dress that fits her right now, the one Bob got her during their honeymoon. Her first time wearing it out and about.

And she might be watching Matrix with a hawkish eye.

AndrAIa approaches the pregnant sprite, smiling wryly while her almost-husband hangs back, scowling at his sister.

"Are you appeased, then?"

Dani grins as she makes her way through the crowd, remembering the last wedding she attended in Mainframe. Of course, that time she had been an actual member of the wedding party...

Her dress, the same periwinkle color as her usual hoodie, isn't as fancy this time around. She looks around, trying to find someone to talk to.

Enzo's outfit is exactly as fancy as last time. Ah, uniforms. They simplify life, at the cost of forcing you to wear really silly hats.

He hurries over as soon as he sees her, and stops short in that slightly flustered way. "Hi." He grins. "You look nice."

Quite suddenly, there's a rather large sprite looming behind the younger one.

"Uh...hey, kid. Thanks for coming."

Enzo's feeling a little dazed; he had to get up early to catch the ship here from the Supercomputer, and he only reached Mainframe a little while ago.

Still, he is thrilled to be here, even if he does have to wear his dress uniform with the stupid hat.

AndrAIa smiles as she spots Enzo, and she makes her way over. Briefly, she lifts a hand to ruffle at his hair, but stops short due to his headwear.

"Hey, Sprout, looking sharp."

Mouse is uncharacteristically (and yet not surprisingly) experiencing bouts of tears and sniffling. After all, it wasn't too long ago that she reformatted a very young AndrAIa's game sprite icon so she could be registered with the system. And now that little kid she helped care for is *sniff* all grown up and getting married!

This may explain why Mouse is dabbing her eyes with a tissue for approximately the 128th time. But don't worry, those are tears of joy.

Ray steps beside Mouse and strings one glowing arm around her shoulders. Noting her tears of joy, he gives her a bit of a squeeze and a shake, a grin of amusement on his face. "Doin' okay?"

Ceremony

At the front of the room, sans attendants, stand bride, groom, and officiant.

Phong clears his throat to draw the attention of the congregated sprites, and once everyone's settled, he begins.

"Friends, we are gathered here to witness the joining of these two sprites in the bonds of matrimony.

"If any sprite here knows why AndrAIa and Matrix should not be joined together, they should input now or forever hold their peace."

Here, the assembled audience gets a Look from the renegade, his bionic eye glowing menacingly at the mass of sprites.

Nobody better have a fraggin' problem with this, especially after they've been press-ganged into this by his sister.

Matrix's glower earns him a light smack on the arm from his almost-wife. "Behave!" she hisses at him quietly, and he shoots her an innocent look.

"What?"

"If either of you know any reason why you cannot... well, no, it is a little late for that one. Very well. Do you, Enzo Matrix, take AndrAIa to be your wife, to love, cherish, and protect, in robustness and in brittleness, in error conditions and fully patched, as long as you both shall process?"
