There's a bit of a brouhaha going down at the PO this cycle. Seems a certain Game sprite and renegade Guardian are finally making things all legit.

Matrix tugs irritably at his dress shirt for the umpteenth time, and AndrAIa moves to correct it. "Tell me again why we're doing this?" he growls, rolling his eyes at his almost-wife's fussing.

The Game sprite's reply is carefully neutral and patient, as if she's reminding herself of the answer as well. "Because we both love your sister very much."

He scowls. "But... she took Gun away."

"And you'll get Gun back afterward."

"I feel naked," her almost-husband whines again, and he gets a lecherous sort of grin in reply.

"No, that's later."

And in the front row, Dot holds a hand to her swollen belly wincing, like she's done every other time Mairi's kicked especially hard.

Except it doesn't fade after a moment, and there's wet stain rapidly forming on her dress.

At the same moment, Bob senses a distinct shift in the energies of both his wife and their unborn child, like an upgrade, only--

!!!

"Dot!" Bob grabs her hand.

The couple accept the command-rings from the ancient sprite, but at Bob's sudden cry, both whirl around to see what's wrong.

At the sight of Dot in obvious pain, and Bob looking frantic, both dart towards the scene, both uttering their own startled exclamations.

Dot for the most part isn't moving much until they try to come close. Then her head comes up with the most intense look of pain and rage this side of Hexadecimal.

"Get. it. done."

No one is going to argue with the angry, hormonal pregnant lady giving birth, right?

"Dot, you're in labor, you need to get to the medbay--"

Bob? You're holding her hand right now. We'd like to remind you of that considering she's giving it a deathgrip right now.

However...Dot isn't stupid.

"Medbay's not far...could walk there."

"Yeah, and we're gonna do it now." Bob is prepared to pick her up and carry her out of the chapel if it comes to that. (Hopefully it won't. Pregnant women are heavy.)

Dot looks like she's about to argue, but that's before another contraction hits.

She does however give both Matrix and AndrAIa one of those looks that promises much suffering if the wedding doesn't keep moving forward.

While Dot's first Look stops Matrix and AndrAIa right in their tracks as they look on concernedly, the second sends them more or less scrambling back to their previous positions.

They glance at each other, and after a silent conversation, AndrAIa holds the link command over her icon without prompting, Matrix mirroring her own actions.

With minimal fumbling, AndrAIa then places her command on Matrix's icon, and his on hers, after which, Matrix turns to Phong with a Look of his own as the commands dissolve, his bionic eye glowing.

"You heard the woman."

Phong bobs his head and hastily declares, "I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss," and rolls off in the direction of the medbay.

They kiss hastily; the ceremony concluded, the pair rush to Dot's side once again, AndrAIa thrusting her bouquet into the nearest pair of hands before she and Matrix move to help Bob get his wife to the medbay.

Dani briefly considers the bouquet in her hands, wondering if it counts as "catching" it, before scanning the crowd for Enzo.

Enzo pushes his way over.

"Dot?! What's going on? What's wrong?"

"...Mairi's arriving a little earlier than- !! ...expected." Dot replies as the ~~minions~~ ~~henchbots~~ mookbots roll up in due and great alarm.

"Miss Matrix!"

"Do you want us to carry you to the medbay?"

"Early?! But... no..."

Little Alexander Sandhu, so impossibly tiny, stuck in the hospital for weeks with tubes up his nose...

He turns to Hack and Slash. "Get her there right now!"

Enzo is making the scary face at them.

If anything, Slash looks even more alarmed as he picks up Dot in both arms before making rollerball tracks for the medbay post haste!

Hack is not far behind, with a faint... "I did NOT know he could do that..."
"Less talking, more moving!"
