There's a bit of a brouhaha going down at the PO this cycle. Seems a certain Game sprite and renegade Guardian are finally making things all legit.

Matrix tugs irritably at his dress shirt for the umpteenth time, and AndrAIa moves to correct it. "Tell me again why we're doing this?" he growls, rolling his eyes at his almost-wife's fussing.

The Game sprite's reply is carefully neutral and patient, as if she's reminding herself of the answer as well. "Because we both love your sister very much."

He scowls. "But... she took Gun away."

"And you'll get Gun back afterward."

"I feel naked," her almost-husband whines again, and he gets a lecherous sort of grin in reply.

"No, that's later."

Dot really only has one formal dress that fits her right now, the one Bob got her during their honeymoon. Her first time wearing it out and about.

And she might be watching Matrix with a hawkish eye.

"How're you holding up?" he murmurs.

"Mairi's kicky and I feel like I have for the past second." Comes a softly murmured reply. "Stiff, sore, and bloated."

He steps behind her and rubs her shoulders gently. "Don't worry. In a couple of microseconds it'll be over and we can all relax again."

"And I'll be spending the afternoon soaking my ankles and reading story-files to Mairi."

"Mm-hm." He gives his wife a quick kiss on the top of the head, then goes to greet his brother-in-law and soon-to-be sister-in-law. (Sister-in-law-in-law? Whatever.)
