There's a bit of a brouhaha going down at the PO this cycle. Seems a certain Game sprite and renegade Guardian are finally making things all legit.

Matrix tugs irritably at his dress shirt for the umpteenth time, and AndrAIa moves to correct it. "Tell me again why we're doing this?" he growls, rolling his eyes at his almost-wife's fussing.

The Game sprite's reply is carefully neutral and patient, as if she's reminding herself of the answer as well. "Because we both love your sister very much."

He scowls. "But... she took Gun away."

"And you'll get Gun back afterward."

"I feel naked," her almost-husband whines again, and he gets a lecherous sort of grin in reply.

"No, that's later."

Dani grins as she makes her way through the crowd, remembering the last wedding she attended in Mainframe. Of course, that time she had been an actual member of the wedding party...

Her dress, the same periwinkle color as her usual hoodie, isn't as fancy this time around. She looks around, trying to find someone to talk to.

Enzo's outfit is exactly as fancy as last time. Ah, uniforms. They simplify life, at the cost of forcing you to wear really silly hats.

He hurries over as soon as he sees her, and stops short in that slightly flustered way. "Hi." He grins. "You look nice."

"Thanks." In a slightly teasing tone she adds, "Didn't you wear that last time?"

This, my sweet, earns you a raspberry.

"At least you don't have a butt-bow this time."

And that, my dear, earns you a noogie.

"So, what, you're saying I look better?" she asks.

"Augh! Yes! No! You're beautiful no matter what you wear! Ow!"

Properly appeased, Dani ceases the noogie-ing.

"Thank you, Enzo." You can practically see the saccharine dripping off of her words.

"You're welcome." Enzo rubs his head. "That was one of those girl-questions, wasn't it?" he says accusingly.

Giggle. "Yup."

"Red warned me about those."

She grins; obviously that is a Good Thing (caps intentional).

"So, you doing anything in the wedding or do you just get to watch too?"

"Just watching. They wanted to keep it simple, it's just them and Phong. They only dressed up 'cause Dot made them."

Dani tries not to giggle...but fails.

"She can be very persuasive that way, can't she?"

"She even got Gun away from Matrix!"

Which explains why the groom looks so sulky.

Quite suddenly, there's a rather large sprite looming behind the younger one.

"Uh...hey, kid. Thanks for coming."

Dani looks back and up...and up.

So...what else do you say to your boyfriend's older counterpart?

The same thing you say to your younger counterpart's girlfriend, it seems.

"So... how're... things?"

"They're...fine." If you consider Vlad ~~taking over~~ becoming mayor of Amity Park fine, that is.

Matrix almost sighs in relief as he spots AndrAIa heading over from beside the white sprite from Milliways. Upon arriving, the Game sprite promptly wraps the younger sprite in a hug.

"Thanks for coming Dani, how've you been?"

"I've been good," she replies, returning the hug. "How 'bout you?"

"Same for me, for the most part."

She takes a step back to regard Dani at arm's length.

"You've grown since the last time I saw you."

"And I'm still taller than Enzo," Dani grins.

Only by half an inch, by User measurements, but she's going to milk that half inch for as long as she can.
